Geof Morin joined the Biblica team in August 2018 as President and CEO following an extensive career of exploring new avenues to reach people with the message of the Bible.
Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Ministry Mobilization at American Bible Society. In this role, Geof led the organization’s global ministry strategies, including translation, trauma healing, and domestic Bible advocacy initiatives. He began his career with the global advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi before turning his attention to ministry, through the completion of a Yale University master’s degree, and launching and directing two nonprofits for at-risk youth. Morin later served as the director of marketing at Geneva Global, a leading philanthropic research and consulting firm.
Bruce joined Biblica in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. In a career spanning 25+ years of finance, risk management and audit both in the U.S. and the Middle East, Bruce has excelled within roles at Coopers & Lybrand, General Dynamics and Allianz Partners. Through these experiences, he has provided financial leadership for high growth teams. This step to serve with Biblica represents a clear calling to further leverage these strong marketplace skills—now for dedicated, kingdom purposes.
Bruce earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from Penn State and an MBA from George Washington University.
Dana Hunter joined Biblica in 2022 as senior director of development. She now oversees Biblica’s global fundraising program to secure needed funds for the ministry through major investor strategic engagements for the purposes of donor stewardship, cultivation, prospecting and garnering major gifts. In addition to leading the US based team, she creates and leads implementation of culturally relevant and pioneering fundraising plans with in-country leaders for South Africa and UK fundraising leaders.
She brings 10 years of experience through previously held higher education development and faculty positions. Dana is an academic at heart who found her home in philanthropy. Most recently she served as senior director of development at the Kansas State University Foundation for the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering and previously the College of Human Ecology. She excelled in relationship management, building teams, major gift production, stewardship, and leadership. Before entering development, she was a faculty member teaching gerontology within the College of Human Ecology’s Center on Aging.
Dana holds two degrees from Kansas State University, an undergraduate degree in family studies and human services and a masters in gerontology.
Jonathan oversees Biblica’s Bible translation efforts, publishing division, legal/licensing team, and its digital innovation initiatives.
He began his career with Biblica in 2003 and over the next 14 years served the organization in planned giving, advancement, marketing, and operational management. In 2017, after completing an Executive MBA from the University of Colorado, he stepped away from Biblica to join Dish Network. His experience in the Fortune 200 world gave him the opportunity to develop his expertise in operational leadership, project management, and strategic planning. Jonathan rejoined Biblica in 2019 as Vice President, Translation & Publishing and now serves on our Senior Leadership Team.
Marius joined Biblica in 2015 as Regional Director for Southern Africa and now oversees global program development. As such, he provides strategic direction for global program development and implementation, managing the development of new program resources, and providing support, training and guidance to Biblica offices and ministry partners around the world for the implementation of Biblica’s Bible engagement programs.
Marius is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church and a licensed Pastoral Therapist. His career before joining Biblica included pastoring an inner-city church, serving as chaplain and counselor in hospitals, prisons and hospices, and heading up the Theology faculty of a Christian, liberal arts college. He grew up in Zimbabwe, descended from a long line of missionaries and pastors, but now lives in Cape Town, South Africa with his wife and two sons.
Enrique joined Biblica in 1999 and over the past 24 years he has worked closely with churches and ministries in Latin America, Brazil, and the Caribbean to distribute the Bible, implement programs and missionary projects in at risk communities and successfully train pastors and leaders. Prior to joining Biblica, Enrique started his career in 1990 with the United Bible Society in Ecuador, where he helped in the distribution of the Bible across Ecuador as the Director of distribution.
Enrique is an ordained minister and alongside his wonderful wife Elena, they led as pastors in Quito for 10 years. Enrique earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising from the Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial in Quito, Ecuador and has a Master’s in Theology from Logos University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Theology at Logos University.
As Vice President, Lydia provides oversight of Biblica’s work in Africa and ensures that the mission of Biblica is advanced by working with ministry partners. Lydia moved into her current role in 2015 after serving in Biblica for 21 years in various capacities including Regional Director for East Africa, National Coordinator for Kenya, Administration Manager and Communication Coordinator. She is passionate about discipleship for Africa’s children and youth whom she sees as the hope of a transformed continent.
Married to Rev Jotham Munene, a Pastor with Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM), Lydia currently resides in Mombasa, Kenya, where they have planted a CITAM Church.
Mark grew up in the deprived East End of London, where he saw first-hand the transformational power of God in the lives of many lost and people without hope. He is passionate about building strong teams and partnerships that change the lives of marginalized and vulnerable people, through breaking down barriers to God’s Word to introduce people to Jesus.
Mark joined Biblica in 2011 after leadership roles in publishing at Inter-Varsity Press, Authentic Media and Paternoster. His vision is to inspire Christians to use their God-given creativity to revolutionize the world for Jesus through sharing the Bible with those who have never encountered Jesus. Mark leads Biblica’s gifted teams working with partners in Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa.
In his current role, Hans oversees the development of a Digital Training Library (DTL) in collaboration with Fuller Theological Seminary and ETEN implementing partners. The DTL is an online learning platform designed to provide training to translation teams, second-level checkers, and translation consultants in order to improve quality assurance for the entire Bible translation movement. Since he joined Biblica in 2013, Hans has served in various translation roles, most recently as Vice President, Global Translation, overseeing Biblica’s global translation portfolio.
Hans has four degrees in Biblical languages and theology from Stellenbosch University and is an ordained minister in the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa. Previously, he lectured at Stellenbosch University and University of the Western Cape. Together with his wife Patricia and 5 children, Hans served for 17 years in Malaysia with Wycliffe Bible Translators and SIL International in translation and administration to enable local language communities to achieve their language development and Bible translation goals.
Lavon joined Biblica in 2021 as the Global Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Biblica, he served as the Director of Operations at The Classical Academy Charter School, one of the largest charter schools in Colorado. Lavon is also a licensed pastor, a licensed professional counselor, and a 24-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, culminating a distinguished career as Command Chief Master Sergeant at Schriever Air Force Base located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
God’s calling and Lavon’s passion for ministry led him to Biblica where he provides strategic direction and influence in the field of human resources, reinforcing a culture of leadership to positively affect Biblica’s mission and core values of generosity, impact, faithfulness, and trailblazing.
Lavon is a graduate of Colorado Christian University and holds a Bachelor’s in HR and a Master’s in Counseling.
Mark Finzel joined Biblica in 2016. He currently oversees Biblica’s Digital Innovation team. His primary role is ensuring that Biblica continues to innovate digitally, through translation & mobilization opportunities, working with global partners, and working closely with area offices to pursue areas of growth for digital transformation. Mark brings a diverse business background to Biblica, including over 20 years of technology experience, and over 10 years of brand and marketing experience.
Mark is a graduate of Biola University in La Mirada, California. He lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his wife and four kids.
Ted joined Biblica in 2021 and works with the Advancement Team, with a specific focus on investor relationships. Ted combines his passion for story-telling and relationship management to help investors understand the significance of their gifts.
Ted has worked in the faith-based non-profit world since 2008 in various leadership roles. Prior to working in non-profits, Ted held titles within marketing, communication, and sales for transportation, healthcare, and international companies. He received advanced degrees in Theology and Business as well as an undergraduate degree in Communications.
Ted happily calls Chattanooga home along with his wife and four children.
Biblica is committed to bringing the Bible to Asia in a format that is easy to understand and faster to receive so its people can be transformed through Jesus Christ. Security can often be an issue for our brothers and sisters working in this region. As a result, the identity of our Vice President of Asia has been withheld.
Dionne joined Biblica in January 2023. As a detail-orientated accounting and finance professional she has been meeting the accounting needs of companies, not-for-profit organisations and individuals for over 12 years. Dionne lives in Bournemouth with her husband and three children, Heavenly-Joy, Daniel-Jesse and Josiah-James. Together they attend City Gate Church. Dionne serves as a governor for two local Church of England schools.
