Geof Morin

President / Chief Executive Officer

Geof Morin joined the Biblica team in August 2018 as President and CEO following an extensive career of exploring new avenues to reach people with the message of the Bible.

 

Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Ministry Mobilization at American Bible Society. In this role, Geof led the organization’s global ministry strategies, including translation, trauma healing, and domestic Bible advocacy initiatives. He began his career with the global advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi before turning his attention to ministry, through the completion of a Yale University master’s degree, and launching and directing two nonprofits for at-risk youth. Morin later served as the director of marketing at Geneva Global, a leading philanthropic research and consulting firm.

Mark Finnie​

Vice President, MENA/Eurasia​

Mark grew up in the deprived East End of London, where he saw first-hand the transformational power of God in the lives of many lost and people without hope. He is passionate about building strong teams and partnerships that change the lives of marginalized and vulnerable people, through breaking down barriers to God’s Word to introduce people to Jesus.

 

Mark joined Biblica in 2011 after leadership roles in publishing at Inter-Varsity Press, Authentic Media and Paternoster. His vision is to inspire Christians to use their God-given creativity to revolutionize the world for Jesus through sharing the Bible with those who have never encountered Jesus. Mark leads Biblica’s gifted teams working with partners in Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa.

Trevor Wilson

Eurasia Strategic Partnerships & Projects Director

Trevor joined the Biblica team in February 2016. Trevor’s role involves working with partners assisting them as they develop relevant formats of Biblica’s translations and he is also responsible for our Rising Generations programmes across Europe. Trevor is married to Katie and they have two daughters – Niamh and Anabeth, they live in Belfast, Northern Ireland and are members of Belfast City Vineyard.

Oli Proctor

Partnerships Manager – Europe & Central Asia

Oli joined Biblica in February 2016, having worked previously in the Christian publishing and music industries and works in the role of European Partnerships Manager. Oli’s role involves finding, serving and developing ministry partners as they carry the Bible to their communities. Oli lives with his wife and 2 children in the north of England where they serve their local church in worship, leadership & discipleship. He enjoys walking in the hills and has climbed nearly 100 of Scotland’s highest mountains. 

Cathy Wright

Eurasia Publishing and Project Co-ordinator

Cathy joined Biblica in 2019 in the role of Project Manager. She previously served in a church planting role in the Philippines for nine years, alongside her husband Paul. Cathy’s role involves overseeing project reporting overseeing print projects, in collaboration with partners, printers and Biblica’s global publishing team. Cathy and Paul now live in Bangor, Northern Ireland with their 3 children and attend Scrabo Hall in Newtownards.

Jerry Gweme

Senior Finance & Operations Manager

erry joined Biblica in March 2022. He has a wide and long career in managing finances and operations in the Charity sector. Jerry has a passion to teach the Word of God. He pastors the Shekinah Glory Revival Ministries in Kent and works with a team to evangelise within the Medway towns. He is married to Georgina and they are blessed with three lovely daughters.

Dionne Mutambisi

Finance Officer

Dionne joined Biblica in January 2023. As a detail-orientated accounting and finance professional she has been meeting the accounting needs of companies, not-for-profit organisations and individuals for over 12 years. Dionne lives in Bournemouth with her husband and three children, Heavenly-Joy, Daniel-Jesse and Josiah-James. Together they attend City Gate Church. Dionne serves as a governor for two local Church of England schools. 

Catherine McKinley

Senior HR Programme Manager – International

Catherine joined Biblica in March 2013, following previous roles serving with Interserve and Belfast Bible College. Until recently she worked in the role of Operations & Communications Manager, but now serves as part of our Global HR Team. Catherine lives in Newtownards, Northern Ireland with her husband Bobby and Cocker Spaniel called Jake.

Gary O’Rourke

Communications & Advancement Officer

Gary joined Biblica in October 2019 following a career in the Northern Ireland Civil Service and works in the role of Communications & Advancement Officer. Gary played dodgeball internationally, representing Northern Ireland! Gary’s role involves developing content for the website and overseeing social media channels. He is married to Alison, they have three children and attend Abbots Cross Presbyterian Church.

Beki Kerkman

Events Administrator

Beki joined Biblica in 2021 as Team Administrator. She is from Colorado, but lives in Dundalk, Ireland with her husband Randy and dog Byron. Prior to working at Biblica, Beki had a long and varied career in administrative roles, events work, and as an independent singer/songwriter. She and her husband have lived in Ireland for four years and attend Dundalk Community Church where they are actively involved with the worship music team.

Chris Aitcheson

Team Administrator

Chris joined Biblica in April 2022. His role involves assisting with travel arrangements, meetings and with the daily running of the office. Chris spent 16 years in pastoral ministry on the North Coast of Northern Ireland before moving to Edinburgh to serve on the staff team of Liberton Kirk for 5 years. He recently moved back to Northern Ireland and worships at Ballysally Presbyterian Church. Chris is married to Ruth and they have three grown-up daughters.

Ioan Giosanu

Senior Director, Global Translations

Ioan has over 20 years of Bible translation experience having worked in partnership with Biblica since 2000 and joining Biblica in January 2017 as Area Translation Manager for Europe. IN 2019 he started his current role overseeing translation projects in the Americas, Africa, Eurasia, MENA, South Asia and East Asia Pacific. Ioan is a licentiate in Pastoral Theology at Emanuel University of Oradea in Eastern Europe . He lives in Cheshire with his wife Mirela and their three children.
